Hello,
Chemistry is a fundamental discipline that investigates the structure, constitution, and characteristics of matter. Chemistry describes how the chemical bonding of individual atoms combine to produce chemical compounds in matter, which is made up of many atoms.
A Chemical Science is a systematic body of knowledge that records the structures, characteristics, and composition of diverse substances as a result of chemical reaction or bonding. Water, for example, is created by a chemical interaction between 1 molecule of oxygen and 2 molecules of hydrogen.
MSc Chemistry students at the majority of Indian institutions spend one semester (two semesters/one year) on a research project (in IITs, it may be two semesters/one year). An MS (Chemical Science) student, on the other hand, often spends nearly two years working on research projects.
Both the degrees are equally important and provide doors to employment in Indian and international institutions as well as in industry.
Hope it helped
Thank you
HI,
Well b.sc in chemistry comes under general course of chemistry study of matter, like inorganic and organic chemistry, properties, composition, and structure of substances etc. where b.sc in chemical science deals with mainly application of Chemistry and related concepts like chemical reactions and chemical compositions of substances.
so both of the course syllabus is different, have excellent opportunity for masters course in India and abroad , research works etc.
In india most of the colleges offers b.sc in chemistry hons or general course.
hope it would help.
