What is the difference between DUAL DEGREE and INTEGRATED PROGRAMS for BTECH and MTECH..?
hey ,
Dual degree means you will be getting your two degrees (B.Tech an M. Tech) separately, which means you will get a B. Tech Degree after 4 year course and then a M. Tech Degree after 2 year course.
Whereas for integrated course, you will get both your degrees after pursuing a 5 year course for B. Tech + M. Tech.
Good Luck :)
Hi,
Integrated means combined, joined or cohesive. So an integrated MTECH. course means a 4year BTECH. joined with 2year MTECH. which can be done in a span of 5 years. An integrated MBA means 4 year BTECH. joined with 2year MTECH. which can be done in 5 years. In integrated course you get both bachelor and master degree combined after 5 years.
Dual degree course means to get degree in two different disciplines. For example in some colleges like BITS, they give you pure science streams like physics, chemistry, maths, and other subjects as economics, humanity, etc. for doing your MSc. and you can then pursue your BTECH. and based on your first semester CGPA. So you get two degrees in 5 years. Economics helps students to gain basis knowledge for an MBA and that helps in placements too. Maths help in computing and algorithms. Students from dual degree courses also grab great placements.
Thanks..!!
