In my opinion both electric and electronics engineering and electronics and communication engineering are equally good.The main difference between EEE and ECE is EEE deals with only electrics and electronics where as ECE deals with electronics and some part of communication as well.In ECE the chances of getting jobs in central level is a bit easy comparing with EEE.In general the placements for ECE students is more in MNC's comparing with EEE.But both EEE and ECE are having plenty of job oppurtunities.

Electronics and communication deals with wave, satellite, signal systems, radio frequency. It also has some common subjects from electrical engineering.

Electrical engineering includes designing and construction of circuits, digital electronics, electronic network,etc.

So basically electronics and communication focus more on designing of hardware for telecommunication while electronics is extensively based on electronic devices and system.
