What is the difference between fibrous protein and globular protein?

Hi there,

They are fibre like protien formed by poly-peptide chain held together by strong hydrogen and disulphide bonds. They are insoluble bin water .for example keratin is found in hair and nails .

Globular protein are poly peptide chains folded around itself give rise to spherical structure. These are soluble in water for example some hormones like insulin.
