What is the difference between general rank or quota rank?? Plz answer..

Hello student,
The overall rank is the general rank or AIR i s the rank which you get among all the candidates who appeared for the exam but the category rank which is also the quota rank is the rank which you get among all the candidates of that category who appeared for the exam.
