What is the difference between Govt colleges and Govt controlled colleges??What is the difference between fee structure?

Dear Student,

the basic difference between Government colleges and Government aided colleges is that, Government colleges are those that are completely owned and controlled by the Government, here the government is in charge of making the curriculum, the study materials, fee structure, syllabus, examinations and more. Whereas for a Government aided college, the college would be owned by a private management, but gets some of its aids from the Government for its infrastructure and so on.

With respect to fees, it is said that the Government college would have a fees structure which is more reasonable as compared to Government aided colleges.
