What is the difference between IEM & UEM Kolkata?....... Please provide the informations in detail and Why the cutoff of the IEM is so high regarding UEM?....... Please highlight the placements of both colleges.....Is both of IEM & UEM's placement same?

BOTH ARE PRIVATE BUT IN TEARMS OF PLACEMENT AND CAMPUS IEM IS MUCH MUCH BETTER THAN UEM . IF YOU HAVE A GOOD RANK IN WBJEE , U CAN EASILY GET IEM . BUT FOR UEM , A PERSON WHO HAS NEVER STUDIED EVER IN LIFE , CAN EASILY GET UEM .

Bro, I know that You have a great knowledge about UEM Kolkata but your word that "a person who never studied in his life, can easily get UEM Kolkata" it means that he doesn't qualified 10th or 12th examination, so it doesn't make any sense to get into a college. This is a platform which is made for helping the students who aspiring Engineering and Medical Examinations and Higher Studies, so when you suggest something to someone by this platform you should choose your word properly.
If you really think that the college is extremely poor. And this is not that place for the Brilliant students like you ,it is ideal place for those like who never touched book in his/her life . Then you should show a proper fact regarding your word don't mislead someone by saying sensitive words.

Hello Arindam,
The Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) is a government Institution while University of Engineering and Management (UEM) is a private Institution. Among these two, UEM is among the top ranked colleges in state of West Bengal and therefore it's cutoffs are high. While, you can easily get admission in IEM through an entrance exam conducted by them.
In the placement view, IEM seems to have higher placement records than UEM.
