Computer science and Information Technology are appears to be twins and synonymous to many but in reality they have different objective. The mojor difference between both these field is that IT deals with the computing technology to real life processes, while computer science deals with the science that facilitate these applications. On the other hand, It is just the selection of proper software or hardware for the task. There is not much difference in both but some variation in core area, future scope, etc.
