Hello,

Both are extremely outstanding career options students can pursue. Interior design is the field where the furniture, decors, designs of walls, etc. are focused upon. Interior design is more of your creative mind. On the other hand interior architecture focuses on size, spacing, number of rooms, washrooms, etc. of a house. Interior architecture involves a little scaling & measuring.

For interior designing students can pursue courses like B. Des. (Interior & Furniture), BA Hons. Interior design, B.Sc. Interior design, etc. For more details you can visit https://www.careers360.com/courses/articles/design-courses-after-12-counar

For Interior architecture students can pursue courses like B. Arch, B. Planning, Diploma in Interior Design , etc. For more details you can visit https://www.careers360.com/courses/articles/architecture-courses-after-12th-counar

Both the courses have very good scope, job opportunities, high salary packages. So you can choose anyone based on your interest.

Hope it helps.

Archi, this course does include maths but it would be basic maths. Since Interior design involves technical details and calculations, you should have the basic math knowledge for that.

Hello Archi

Basically, an interior architect designs building interiors & space planning while an interior designer focuses on the actual furnishing and decoration of an interior. However, interior architecture is a much bigger task than just making a building aesthetically pleasing.

Also, interior designers earn less than architects over their careers and furthermore person with interior architecture can also do interior designing and can ease in it with time. So , I think you should go for interior architecture if you are thinking to do and handle lot of work and workers. if not you can go for giving brilliant ideas as interior designer.

Hope this will help you thank you.
