what is the difference between IPS and IFS in all aspect

As per your ranking in the UPSC civil services exams, you get posted in one of the following departments:-
- IAS (Indian Administrative services) which deals with administration of various public sector services as a permanent part of the country's bureaucratic system.
- IPS (Indian Police Services) which primarily deals Order maintaining.
- IFS (Indian foreign services) which is concerned with maintaining healthy relations with foreign countries in order to establish a healthier atmosphere for international activities.
In order to join any of the aforementioned departments, you need to appear for the UPSC Civil Services examination and secure a rank.

IFS is indian foreign services and IPS is indian police services there is large difference between them. IPS and IFS both are selected through UPSC and criteria is almost same. IFS is representative of the country in other countries and thus it's a job out of the country whereas IPS joins as ASP mostly and meant to lead the police force in a district and gradually with promotion they lead the police force of a state. Both the jobs are equally good and it all depends on your interest what your interest is.
