what is the difference between IT AND CS
hi milansinh,
"Syllabus” is ofcourse the major difference between CSE and IT. ... An IT career involves installing, organizing and maintaining computer systems as well as designing and operating networks and databases. Computer science is focused entirely on efficiently programming computers using mathematical algorithms.
hope the information was helpfull
all the best:)
Hi,
The basic difference is that, in CS, a person learns a lot about the software of the computer, operating systems and coding. A CS student learns the functioning of the machine.
While, an IT person deals with the existing operating systems and softwares to create a bigger system.
In general, CS people develop computer software, programs and applications while IT people use these to create solutions for the corporates.
Hi,
Both branches are same. The only difference comes in the 8th SEM. IT will be having only software while CSE will be having both software and hardware.
Hi Milansinh
Thanks for the question,
CSE(Computer Science & Engineering) and IT (Information technology) both are quite similar in some or the other manner. So you can choose as per your convenience.
CSE: Computer science engineers are involved in many aspects of computing, from the design of individual microprocessors, personal computers and supercomputers to circuit designing and writing software that powers them.
IT: Information Technology deals with the use of electronic computers and computer software to store, protect process, transmit and securely retrieve data. IT professionals perform a variety of tasks that range from installing applications to designing complex computer networks and information databases.
All the best
