JEE is the exam for getting into government and many private engineering colleges in India . It consists of 90 questions, 30 each of physics, chemistry and maths to be done in 3 hours .
NEET is the exam for getting into government medical colleges in India and it comprises of 180 questions, 60 each of physics, chemistry and biology to be done in a time limit of 3 hours.

JEE or Joint Entrance Exam and NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test are both all India level examinations for science students.
JEE mandatorily requires the subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at (10+2) level while to be eligible for NEET, you must have qualified your Senior Secondary board exams with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
JEE scores are accepted all over India to get admission in engineering colleges for B.E./ B.Tech. and other related degrees. On the other hand, for getting admission in medical colleges to pursue MBBS/BHMS/BAMS/BDS degrees etc., NEET is the single gateway.
