What is the difference between M.Tech. and M.E
Hello!
There are two types of universities - one that give degree in different courses like engineering, arts, BSc etc. and second is the one which offers degree only in engineering. If engineering is done from former, then it is called B.E. (or M.E.) and if it is done from latter, it is called BTech (Mtech). There is no difference in scope and future of between these two.
The syllabus in the M tech and the M.E program is similar. However, there are slight difference in the teaching methodology .Mtech program tends to be more hands on" with more practical session than an M.E. program. As far as job prospects are concerned- companies do not select candidate based on whether they Hold and MTech or M.E degree .Rather ,it's quality of the university for which the degrees obtained That Matters more.
I hope it will help you
Goodluck...
M.E is course based master degree and it is a academic qualifications and it is regarded as more respected and recognised degree. For M.E candidates must have passed B.E/B.tech degree.
M.yech is two years post graduate program. The program is basically designed to equip students with the basic practical skills with sufficient theory to develop in them.
