NEET UG  is entrance exam for admission in undergraduate course of MBBS/BDS in colleges of India. NEET PG  is entrance exam for admission in postgraduate courses of MD/MS/MDS/PG-Diploma in colleges of India.

NEET UG means and all India entrance examination for admission to the undergraduate medical course that is MBBS, Bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery, granted by various colleges approved by the Medical Council of India throughout the nation.

Kiran you are tested on the subjects of physics chemistry and Biology you have to answer 180 MCQs getting 4 marks each and out of this 720 you have to get 360 buy unreserved category to qualify for the examination and the highest score you get the better chances of you getting a good college government or private.

However Neet PG is just the same version of this examination for those who wish to pursue postgraduate courses in Medical Science throughout India as approved by the Medical Council of India.

You have to answer multiple choice questions based on the different subjects which are taught throughout the curriculum in MBBS. They include anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, microbiology,microbiology, forensic medicine, ophthalmology, oto-rhino-laryngology ,community medicine, general medicine, orthopedics, Dermatology, radiology, anaesthesia, general surgery, psychiatry, gynaecology and obstetrics, paediatric medicine.

Depending on your rank you can then choose a stream in which you want to pursue your MD or Ms degree in any affiliated Medical College throughout India whether it be in your state availing the state quota or in any state across India availing the all India quota

Hi , to say in simple terms. NEET UG - physics chemistry and biology only. And NEET PG- All the subjects you learn during the 4.5 years course of MBBS, which includes Anatomy , physiology , biochemistry , pathology ,pharmacology,microbiology,forensic medicine, community medicine , ophthalmology,ENT,medicine , surgery , obstetrics and gynaecology , pediatrics, orthopedics,pulmonary medicine , dermatology. Hii Kritika, NEET UG is the entrance xam inorder to get admission to undergraduate medical seats, which means the course that u join after u complete ur plus2...whereas NEET PG is the entrance xam inorder to get admission to the post graduate seats..ie after u complete ur graduation...hope this helps...

NEET UG is for undergraduate, who aspire to get a seat to pursue MBBS.





NEET PG, if for aspirants who are done with MBBS, and aspire to get MD.



There are both different exams for different purposes.
