Hello candidate,

NTSE examination is conducted into two stages, and the candidate must pass in stage 1 to qualify for second stage. The stage 1 examination does not consists of negative marking whereas stage 2 examination does.

The difference between exactly obtained marks and rounded off marks is is that top 10 marks gets rounded off to the nearest 10 if it is more than 5, like 85+ marks just gets rounded off to 90.

Hope it helps!!

But what's the purpose? It will be misleading. E.g if a student gets 162 n then rounded off to 165 . If cut off is 163 ,then will the student be qualified?
