what is the difference between open bracket and closed bracket in relation and function

Hello aspirant,

In an open interval, the endpoints are not included and is indicated with parentheses. For example, (0,1) describes an interval greater than 0 and less than 1.

In a closed interval, the endpoints are included and is denoted with square brackets. For example, [0,1] describes an interval greater than or equal to 0 and less than or equal to 1.
