Hi dear hope you are doing well!
there are many differences between the paper pattern of JEE mains and advanced like in JEE mains exam is conducted for 3 hours and the full marks is 300 from 2020 and in 2018 or  2019 it was of 360 marks while JEE advanced 6 hour exam and the full mark is not fixed . exam is conducted in two phase 3 hours each. Consisting of two papers paper 1 and paper 2. In JEE mains paper 2 question pattern every year is same that is MCQ type and integer type violin advanced exams the question pattern is not fixed it may be MCQ matrix match integer type special integer type etc.
Hope this will help you .good luck

Hello there,

Yes there are differences between question pattern of jee mains and jee advanced.
In mains only mcq with single choice correct is asked along with integer type questions. There are 25 questions from each subjects making a total of 75 questions in the paper.
In jee Advanced mcq with single correct , multiple correct , matching, integer types , etc are asked.
