Dear Sushmita, Permitted Medical Seats are those which have been given permission by Medical Council of India to be filled. And candidates who complete their course from permitted seats can ony practise within the State from which they completed their education. However recognised seat is which MCI has recognised it and it doesnt restrict any Medical Student to practise in only a certain State. Ideally MCI recognises permittes seats within 3 years. However this also depends on the facilities of the Medical college in question. In other words, if both permitted seat candudate and recognised seat candidate complete MBBS in Delhi, only Recognised seat candidate can practise in Telangana. Apart from the practising part, everything else remains the same.
