Petroleum engineering is a branch of science that deals with the study of extraction of crude oil and natural gasdepsits of earths crust. Whereas petrochemical engineering is the branch that deals with the refinining operations of extracted materials. Both have their own importance and existence of both is required to uphold the resources.
