Many universities provide 2-3 shifts for a particular course.
Post Graduate Diploma for Management is a very common course, so many times we read 1st and 2nd shift in it. 1st shift that is the normal pgdm is generally the morning classes that take place. And 2md shift refers to the evening classes.
