Hii Aspirant

The major differences between government and private medical colleges are as follows:

1)Fees is really very high in private college compared to government colleges. You will spend 30-35 lakhs for the entire course in private colleges where as in government colleges the entire course will get over in 2-3 lakhs.

2)Government colleges make you more dependent whereas spoon feeding is followed in private colleges

Hope the details were helpful

Thank You

Private govt colleges have good teaching and show interest as they're not as busy as govt doctors when coming to the practice. Govt colleges are good because the patient flow is good and you could cope up with the emergency situations which is unlikely not present in the private colleges

In private colleges fees is more and in govt fees is less

The proffesors are not comparable both are excellent only thing which matters is infrastructure in private being more world class and adoptive to the new technologies.

Hope this helped you

Hello

Studying in private college like you are going to pay 30-40 lakhs for full course, and on the other hand government college's only 50 k per year, so u don't have to spend too much money .

On the other hand private college's hospital and their OPD is not so good like government college's hospital. Means in the government college you will see various patients with different and rare diseases, so your practical knowledge will be better here.

Surrounding and environment of government college's is different than private college because in government college student get selected with their marks and knowledge ,but in the private college student comes from rich families whose can afford even their donation fee.

Faculty of the government college is super knowledgeable and experienced because they have to deal with not only student but different different patiens with serious complications.

So i believe that government college is best in every way than private colleges..!!

I hope it will help you

Good luck....

I don't think that government college has only good students with good marks . Nearly half students are those who don't deserve to be there ,but are there due to reservation. So students opting for private college does not mean that were not having knowledge, because in real situation they were better than half of the gov students but took private institutions as they did not feature in a particular caste .

Mainly private colleges are operated by individuals or group of individuals and are directed towards making most profit and fame. Government Medical colleges are affiliated to the Central Government or State Government and are operated by them to provide education to candidates at a low price. That is why getting into government medical colleges is tough and whereas private ones are easy to grab. Private Medical Colleges charge a high amount as fees and have better infrastructure but faculties of government colleges are more versatile.

Hello Kethavanth, the most basic difference is that government medical college almost cost you nothing as the fee per annum is about 12,000-15,000. While private medical college charge about 13,00,000-16,00,000 depending on the college. This is mainly because of the funding from the government. Also, there is much competition for getting in government colleges due to the fact that the fee is so less. The quality of education in government colleges is far better than the private colleges and the degree is much more respected.
