Private govt colleges have good teaching and show interest as they're not as busy as govt doctors when coming to the practice. Govt colleges are good because the patient flow is good and you could cope up with the emergency situations which is unlikely not present in the private colleges
In private colleges fees is more and in govt fees is less
The proffesors are not comparable both are excellent only thing which matters is infrastructure in private being more world class and adoptive to the new technologies.
Hope this helped you
Mainly private colleges are operated by individuals or group of individuals and are directed towards making most profit and fame. Government Medical colleges are affiliated to the Central Government or State Government and are operated by them to provide education to candidates at a low price. That is why getting into government medical colleges is tough and whereas private ones are easy to grab. Private Medical Colleges charge a high amount as fees and have better infrastructure but faculties of government colleges are more versatile.
Hello Kethavanth, the most basic difference is that government medical college almost cost you nothing as the fee per annum is about 12,000-15,000. While private medical college charge about 13,00,000-16,00,000 depending on the college. This is mainly because of the funding from the government. Also, there is much competition for getting in government colleges due to the fact that the fee is so less. The quality of education in government colleges is far better than the private colleges and the degree is much more respected.
