what is the difference between SET and SNAP

Symbiosis International University administers Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) for students who wish to be admitted to different university courses. In the first week of May 2020, SET 2020 will be offered for admission to UG Engineering, BBA, Law and Design courses through SITEEE, SET BBA, SLAT and SEED in different time slots, respectively. In two days, SET 2020 will take place online across 85 exam cities in India. Online registration for all courses will commence from the fourth week of January 2020, and the final date for submitting the application together with the registration fee will be April's third week. Students who want to apply SET 2020 must have cleared or appeared 10+ 2 from a recognised Board with required percentage of marks. SET 2020 eligibility criteria regarding marks are different for the various courses and institutes. Candidates whose applications will be accepted can download SET 2020 admit card online from fourth week of April, onwards, until the date of exam.
Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, popular as SNAP is a national-level management entrance test, administered by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to its 15 institutes offering management programmes. SNAP 2019 will be an online exam of two-hour duration. The total number of seats for the Post Graduate Management programme through SNAP scores is around 1,867.
- So, first difference is the target groups of the examination. While SET is for Engineering, BBA, Law and Design, SNAP is for management.
- SET is 2 hour 30 minutes exam while SNAP is a two hour exam.
- SET has an institute-wise eligibility criteria.
- SNAP's eligibility criteria is a Bachelor's degree from a recognised college / university with an overall mark of at least 50% in any discipline. The final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for SNAP exam. However, they must complete their bachelor's degree with the requisite aggregate percentage or equivalent CGPA during admission.
- SET has a series of examinations under it like- SITEEE, SET BBA, SLAT and SEED.

SET is symbiosis entrance test it is taken by symbiosis international deemed university. it is conducted for admission to undergraduate management/ mass communication/ economics/ liberal arts /computer studies/ culinary arts programs.
SNAP is symbiosis national aptitude exam. It is also taken by symbiosis international university but It is conducted to take admission to courses MBA/ msc offered by symbiosis international deemed university.
Both are entrance exams for getting admission in symbiosis institute.
SET is a common entrance examination for various courses such as BBA, BCA, economics, etc and SNAP is for MBA and MCA only. Candidates seeking admission in MBA and MCA in symbiosis international University have to appear for SNAP examination.
