what is the difference between the AIQ and state councelling ??can you please explain
Hello,
I hope you are doing fine, If you take admission in the state quota then a total of 85% seats in all the government colleges in that particular state will be reserved for admission of the students who have that state's domicile only. And rest 15% seats will be from people All over India. So naturally the marks required for you to take admission in your own state will be lower than the marks required for you to take admission in rest of the states in India. Now the cut off for state and All India quota differs a LOT in each state. You can let me know your state for a more accurate estimate. In some states you might require lower marks like 510+ or 520 plus for admission under state quota and in some even 490 plus. But under All India quota you might require 560+ marks. Hence it differs a lot depending on the state.
I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.
Good Luck
