Both of these systems are the same for the first 5 place values. They both have ones, ten, hundred, thousand and ten thousand in common. After this we see the following differences

Indian System

International System

105 place is called Lakh

105 place is called Hundred Thousand

106 place is Ten Lakh

106 place is called Million

107 place is Crore

107 place is called Ten Million

108 place is Ten Crore

108 place is called Hundred Million
