Manipal University is situated in Manipal , Karnataka, India and is one of the top ranked private universities in India. Sikkim Manipal is another campus of the Manipal University but way inferior to it.
Moreover the placement records in Manipal university is quite good and high as compared to the Sikkim branch.
There is not much difference in fees of both the institutions.

As I said the PLACEMENT in sikkim manipal university is not as good as compared to manipal university but yes if we compare it with other colleges then it has a good placement record. Companies like WIPRO, COGNIZANT, TATA , BMW , DELL, HP, DETOLITE etc recruit students on the basis of their grades.
