is a public central university located in Delhi. It was established in the year 1920 and received the status of Central University in 1988. At present, it offers various UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma, Advanced Diploma and M.Phil & Ph.D. courses in different disciplines.

follows a common application process for all the courses. The application form can be filled by visiting the admission portal of JMI followed by fee submission through Credit/ Debit card or Net-Banking.

JMI offers full-time B.Tech and B.Arch courses for the duration of four and five years in various disciplines. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 55% marks in aggregate. The admission is based on a valid score in

JEE Main

.




The university also offers BE in Evening and B.Arch in Self-Financed mode. Candidates seeking admission BE (Evening) must have passed 10+2 (PCM) with 50% marks in aggregate. Diploma in Engineering is also offered by JMI in both Regular and Self-Financed modes.





DIFFICULTY





Totally depends on student. The entrance exams for the various courses are not so easy and not so difficult. If you have to attend any entrance exams, try to solve the previous year papers and read the specific topics as mentioned in syllabus in best way. If you fall in any specific reservation category, chances of selection wil be more. Theres too much reservations like Kashmiri, Kasmiri Migrants, Muslim OBC, Muslim Women, NRI, PwD.
