There is an interview round as well in Kvpy and generally questions from 11 th and 12 th NCERT level are asked in the interview. Here are some preparation tips:

Difficulty level depends on your preparation level. Level of kvpy sx is far better than your board exams and somewhat easier than JEE advanced questions. Generally chemistry is easier but other subjects maintain a good level.
