Hiii

An object is a physical item. It means something you can touch.
A shirt is an object, but an idea is not an object.
Also when we talk about grammer, we use the word object to talk about the thing or person that the verb is done to, or who receives the verb.

A thing can be anything. A physical object, an idea, a situation. We use the word thing in a lot of different ways. For example-

  • Objects : I own many things.
  • Ideas : I thought of another thing!
  • Tasks : I have many things I need to do today.
  • Topics : I'd like to discuss one more thing.
Living animals and people are not " things ," but everything else in the world is a " thing ."

Hope this helps
Thanks!
