Usually there are various categories through which a student can get an undergraduate degree admission. Most common ones are the General category, Schedule Caste Category and Schedule Tribe Category. OBC is also a category that is for Other Backward Class families which are economically poor. Domicile is another such category which proves that the student is a resident of the state and if the university has state quota the student can get in through that category.
