Hii There

For the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) civil services exam, the duration of training depends on the specific service and cadre allocated to the candidate. After successfully passing the UPSC exam, candidates undergo training at various academies:

  1. Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie : IAS officers undergo a 2-year training program here.

  2. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA), Hyderabad : IPS officers undergo training here, which lasts about 1 to 2 years.

  3. National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT), Nagpur : IRS officers (Income Tax) undergo training here for about a year.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks
