Diploma in animal husbandry course is three or two years full time Diploma course that focuses on training in animal care and breeding. The fees for the course can vary from Rs 1500 to Rs 35000 depending on the Institute. The course primarily deals in breeding diseases, nutrition, hygiene, genetics and breeding management.
After completion of Diploma students can opt to join for jobs such as veterinarian, Farm supervisor, clerk, dairy farm manager. They could also start their own farm or dairy farms business. They can also go for higher course like B.V.Sc, Bachelors in Animal Husbandry & Dairying or other related programmes.
