What is the selection process for LLM admission at SLS Noida?
The Centre for Post-Graduate Legal Studies at the Symbiosis Law School Noida offers the one-year LLM programme in two different specialisations, namely the LLM in Business and Corporate Law and LLM in Criminal Law and Security Law. Candidates seeking admission to the one-year LLM programme offered at the Symbiosis Law School Noida must hold a three-year or five-year LLB Degree from any Indian or Foreign University recognised by the UGC with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks for candidates who belong to the SC/ ST category).
Candidates who want to take admission to the LLM programme have to take the All India Admission Test (AIAT) mandatorily, which consists of a Written Test (70%) and Personal Interview (30%).
Given below is the application and selection process for admission to the LLM programme offered at the Symbiosis Law School Noida:
Application Process
Step 1 : Candidate must complete the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (AIAT) online registration process and pay Rs. 2,150 towards the AIAT Registration Fees.
Step 2 : Candidate must register for the Symbiosis Law School, Noida by offering the choice of specialisation by paying LLM registration fees of Rs. 1,000 per specialisation.
Selection Process
Candidates must appear for the All India Admission Test (AIAT), which consists of Written Test and Personal Interview.
Written Test will include an objective and subjective written test to assess teaching aptitude, legal aptitude, research aptitude and basic legal knowledge of candidates.
The Personal Interview is intended to test student's Personal Attributes, Work Experience, Publications and Statement of Purpose.
The final Merit list will be drawn based on the AIAT Score (70%) and Personal Interview (30%) performance.
For SLS Noida LLM admission candidates are selected on the basis of combined merit scores of AIAT (70%) and PI (30%).
