B.ed is now possible for students who want to be a teacher right after class 12. This will be a course of 4 years duration.

The students can apply for the Common Entrance Test. The eligibility criteria will be that students passing their Higher Secondary Education with a minimum of 65%.

The merit list published after the exam will be based on 80% of the marks secured in CEE and 20% will be considered from your Higher Secondary result.

You will be glad to know that now you can do  b.ed  with in a time duration of only 2 years.Bachelors of Education, popularly referred as B. Ed., is a two-year full-time degree course that is essential for candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching and other related fields. So, you can do b.ed just after 12th and you will be able to complete this course within 2 years whether if you go for Bechelor degree you have to study 3 years. If you want to do integrated b.ed then the time duration for this course is 4 years.
