Hi Aspirant!

Every IFS officer gets 30 days of Earned Leave + 8 days of Casual Leave + 2 days of Restricted Holiday leave when in India and when abroad in addition he gets 15 days of extra leave. The Central Civil Service Leave Rules apply to the IFS, too. Earned Leave is utilized by the IFS for going on vacations. Home Leave- when IFS officer visits India, it is given once during a foreign posting.  However, IFS officer can go to vacation in India more than once, if authorities allow.

Thankyou!
