Electric dipole :- An electric dipole is a a pair of opposite charges that is positive and negative charges separated by some distance

• For example,  let's say + q and -q are two two opposite charges separated by some distance 2a then it constitute an electric  dipole
• The direction of the dipole is from - q to + q

Electric potential"- electric potential is defined as the amount of work done in moving a unit positive charge to a given point given a reference system without producing acceleration in the charge.
