WHAT IS THE ELIGIBILITY AGE FOR WRITING GCET EXAM?
Hi student,
- There is no restriction on the lower and upper age limit for admission in Pharmacy and Engineering courses.
- Candidates seeking admission in courses such as Ayurveda, Dentistry, Allied Health Sciences, Medicine, Homoeopathy, and Nursing should at least 17 years old as on 31 December 2019, in order to be eligible.
- Candidates must have pass 10 + 2 or equivalent examination from recognized board.
- He/she should have Physics, Mathematics and English as mandatory subject and any one of following additional subject in Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology/ Computer Science. Candidates must have scored at least 45% marks aggregate for general group and 40% for SC/ST/PH candidates.

I would like to mention the eligibility criteria for GCET below:
- You should have qualified H.S.S.C examination of Goa Board or any examination conducted by CBSE, New Delhi or an equivalent examination. The candidates should have studied English, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects any one of the following – Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology.
- In the above-mentioned subjects, you should have secured minimum 45% (for SC/ST/OBC candidates, the marks to be secured has to be 40%).
