The admission in to Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering is based on TNEA counselling. The eligibility criteria is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects and any vocational subjects among General Machinist, Electrical Machines and Appliances, Electronic Equipment, Draughtsman Civil, Auto Mechanic or Textile Technology from a recognized board. Candidates belonging to General category must score minimum 50% marks for Backward Classes including Backward Class Muslim candidates it is minimum 45% marks, MBC/ DNC/SC/SCA/ST it is minimum 40% marks.
