Firstly VIT doesn't consider JEE MAINS rank. It organises it's own entrance exam called VITEEE in which you must have minimum 60% of aggregate marks in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12 (50% for ST/SC/OBC).

But, this year admissions will be conducted on the basis of merits in class 12. Students who have qualified for JEE mains will be given higher preference.

Eligibility criteria for admission in vit Vellore is student has to achieve atleast 50 percentile and in boards student has got atleast 85% marks in 12th board they will get 50% tution fee waiver.

According to vit Vellore, candidate should have studied physics , chemistry , biology / maths . Candidate should have 60 percent marks and candidate of North East should have  50 percent and sc st category . Hoping for your best future. Thank you.

This is the first time that VITEEE was cancelled due to the current pandemic. This year admissions will be conducted on the basis of merits in class 12. Students who have qualified for JEE mains will be given higher preference. So if you have given JEE mains and qualified the. You might get some preference.

Also, for applying for VITEEE, you must have minimum 60%  of aggregate in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12 (50% for ST/SC/OBC.).
Please apply for VITEEE if you satisfy all the eligibility criteria. The application form is open till July 31 2020. Also note that once the authorities release the merit list and if your name appears in the list then you have to visit the counseling center and verify your documents.
