What is the eligibility criteria for appearing in Tamil Nadu Lower Judiciary examination? Are the exam dates for the year 2019 notified?

Hello Priya!

The candidate who is willing to apply for exam should fit into the parameters set by the boards.

  • NATIONALITY :The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • AGE LIMIT: For general gategory candidates the age limit is 25-30 years.
  • For Practising Advocates/ Pleaders and Assistant Public Prosecutors and with the category SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all castes. The age should be between 25 to 40 years.
  • For Fresh Law Graduates and for all category candidates the age of the candidate should be between 22 to 27 years.
  • He must have completed the Law Graduate level degree/ LLB or equivalent education to apply for CGPSC Civil Judge Recruitment 2018.

The official notification for 2019 was released in April 2019 and The main exam is scheduled for August 2019.
