The Eligibility Criteria for BA LLB course is that you must have minimum 50% marks in class 12th in any stream.

To be eligible for Ba llb, you need 10 +2  qualification,

When it comes to % requirement in 12th then

It might differ from college to college but yes, in general to be eligible for ba llb you need  12th qualification with at least 45% marks while SC and ST category students need only 40% marks.

If you want to get admission in BA LLB  then after 12th or in the year of appearing for 12th board examination,  some of the entrance examination which you can write are provided below :-


  • *CLAT i. e Common Law Admission Test

  • *AILET - All India Law Entrance Test

  • *LSAT - Law School Admission Test

  • *MHCET law entrance exam

  • *TS LAWCET

  • *LPUNEST

  • *CULEE

Out of all these CLAT is most widely accepted entrance examination for 5 year LLB

To give you a gist of eligibility criteria,

CLAT  eligibility criteria for 5-year  llb  is given below :-

Eligibility criteria for BA LLB course is following:

Candidates must have passed their 10+2 from a recognized board.

Cut off for different categories are following:

General category- 45%

Reserved category-40%

There is no age limit for candidates
