Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will conduct admission through JEE Main 2019 to participating NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. Candidates will be required to register through three channels of CSAB 2019 which are NUET (for North-Eastern States and Union Territories), SFTI (Self Financed Technical Institutes) and UT (Supernumerary Seats for Union Territories). the three channels has different criterias as follows :
All the candidates applying will have to fulfil CSAB SFTI 2019 eligibility criteria to be considered for seat allotment and admission. Mentioned below is CSAB SFTI eligibility criteria 2019 for candidates reference.
Candidates must have qualified in Paper 1 of JEE Main 2019
They should have passed their class XII qualifying exam with minimum 45% aggregate marks (General category) or 40% marks (SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ PwD category).
They must have obtained qualifying marks in their respective class XII boards in each of the following subjects - Physics, Mathematics, any one of these subjects (Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology or Technical Vocational Subject), any one language and any one other subject
Eligibility Criteria (For B.Arch/ B.Plan Admissions)
Candidates should have a valid rank in Paper II of JEE Main 2019
They should have studied Mathematics in their class XII
Must have scored minimum 50% aggregate marks in five subjects including Mathematics
Need to have minimum passing marks in each of the five subjects.
Candidates need to follow the state code of eligibility. For such candidates, there will be supernumerary quota.
They should not have got a seat till Special Vacant Seat Filling round. OR
They need not have reported against any seat allotment in earlier JoSAA rounds. OR
They should have reported for seat allotted at the reporting centre but seat was cancelled due to change in category and are still unallotted. OR
Those who have reported against allotted seat to reporting centre but withdrew the allotted seat till the sixth round of JoSAA.
Those who have paid the initial fee (Rs 35,000 for candidates from GEN, OBC-NCL categories and Rs. 15,000 for candidates belonging to categories SC, ST, GEN- PwD, OBC NCL PwD, SC-PwD or ST-PwD) and reported against seat allotment of JoSAA 2019 but did not report to the allotted Institute till the last specified date.
Mentioned below are certain parameters on the basis of which candidates will not be considered eligible for CSAB UT 2019:
Candidates who have been allotted a seat in JoSAA counselling round and they reported to the participating institute within the time period.
Those who have been allotted a seat in Special Vacant Seat Filling Round, irrespective of whether they have reported to the participating institute or not.
CSAB NUET 2019 eligibility criteria is as follows:
Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have qualified JEE Main 2019 with valid scores.
Domicile: Candidates need to belong to the above mentioned States and Union Territories.
Qualifying Marks: Candidates should have obtained minimum 75% marks or should be in top 20 percentile in their class XII exams as conducted by their respective boards.
Candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories need to have 65% marks in the same criteria.
Qualifying Subjects: The marks secured in the following subjects will be considered -
Physics, Chemistry, (Mathematics, a language (if the candidate has opted for more than one language, then language with higher marks will be considered), and any subject other apart from above four.
