hi tulika,To fulfill the NEET eligibility criteria 2018, candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English. The candidates belonging to General Category should score a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12 or HSC examination.
Candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes (OBC) should score a minimum of 40% in their Class 12 or HSC examination.
For persons with locomotor disability of lower limbs, a minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required

In case of a reserved category candidate, following are the eligibility criteria which one must fulfill in order to appear for NEET entrance exam:
- The candidate should have completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before December 31 of the year of his/her admission to the first year MBBS/BDS course.
- There will be no upper age limit for NEET 2018 as per the SC order passed on March 31, 2017.
- The number of attempts which a candidate can avail in the NEET examination shall be limited to 3 uniformly to all the candidates. Appearance in NEET-2017 was counted as first attempt for candidates who appeared in the same.
- The candidate should have cleared their Class 12 (or equivalent exam) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and Mathematics as main subjects with a minimum aggregate score of 40 percent in these.
- For persons with locomo- tor disability of lower limbs, a minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST- PH/OBC-PH are required.
- Candidates who have appeared for the Class 12 qualifying exam and have results awaiting can also sit for the exam.
In case a reserved category candidate does not fulfil any of the above said requirements, he/she will not be eligible to appear for the entrance exam under any circumstances.
