JoSAA Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2020
It is mandatory for the candidates to qualify JEE Advanced 2020.
Candidates applying for admission throughJoSAA 2020 must have secured a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in their Class 12th or equivalent examination. Relaxation of 10% will be offered to candidates belonging to reserved categories. Thus, SC/ST/PwD category candidates must have secured at least 65% marks in qualifying examination
JoSAA Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2020 (Preparatory Courses at IITs)
Candidates applying for admission must have secured marks higher than the cutoff of JEE Advanced 2020.
Admissions to preparatory courses will only be open for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category. These reserved category candidates will have to secure at least 65% marks in Class 12th or equivalent examination
JoSAA Eligibility Criteria forJEE Main 2020
Paper I (B.Tech)
Candidates are required to score higher marks than the cutoff of JEE Main 2020 for Paper
Candidates must have qualified Class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of either Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject as optional subject
In order to get admission to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, general category candidates must have secured minimum 75% aggregate marks while reserved category candidates must have secured at least 65% marks
Paper II (B.Arch)
Candidates are required to qualify JEE Main 2020 Paper II
Candidates must have studied Mathematics as one of subjects in Class 12th or equivalent examination
In order to get admissions to IIITs, NITs and GFTIs, candidates belonging to general category needs to have secured at least 75% aggregate marks while candidates belonging to reserved categories needs to have secured a minimum of 65% marks in total of five subjects including Mathematics
