What is the eligibility for B.sc agriculture ?

For being eligible for B.Sc agriculture , one must have completed his/her 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and/or Mathematics as the subjects of study.

hey amit,

Bsc Agriculture is a 4 year degree programme which includes a vast variety of subjects. The benefit is that after completing this course, one would get an idea about almost every subjects which could not happen in any other professional course. Moreover, a number of scopes are also awaiting for the graduated ones.

One should:

  • Pass 12 th grade in CBSE/ HSE with biology science as subject
  • Pass 12th grade in VHSC ( Vocational Higher Secondary Course)
  • Acquire a rank below 5000 for state medical entrance examinations (general) for eg: KEAM
  • Acquire a rank in ICAR exaninations ( selection will be based on reservations, higher ranks) (Reservation quota for Lakshadweep and Andaman&Nicobar residents)

These are some of the requirements. Admissions will purely based on marks, reservatuon quotas.
