ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates holding Bachelor’s Degree in relevant disciplines such as – Engineering, Pharmacy, Criminology, Forensic Science and Science are eligible to pursue this course.
Minimum aggregate marks required is 45-55% marks. It may vary from one College to another.

The eligibility criteria for doing forensic courses are:
- The students should have completed their 12th with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry as the compulsory subjects from a recognised board or university.
- They should have also scored a minimum of 50% marks once averaged during their class 12th to get admission in this course.
- For getting admission in PG courses one needs to have a bachelor's degree in IT, computer sciences with a minimum of 45-50% marks in graduation level from a recognised university.
There are various Entrance exams conducted across the country to give admission in this course. The most prevalent being JEE, JEE MAINS which is conducted on a national level.
Other entrance exams are NEST, CG PET, BHU entrance exam etc.
Scope of cyber forensic
- Cyber forensics can work in the Law enforcement agencies in both India and abroad.
- Jobs which open are computer forensic investigator, computer forensic technician, digital forensics specialist, computer forensic analyst etc.
- You can get into the teaching line. You can teach cyber forensics in colleges and universities.
