what is the Eligibility for diploma??

Dear Aspirant,

To pursue diploma in engineering the candidate must fulfil the given below eligibility criteria:

Age Limit : The candidate must be a minimum of 17 years of age at the time of applying for the admission. There is no upper age to apply for admission to diploma in engineering.

Educational qualification :  After 10th : The candidate must have passed class 10th with main subject mathematics, physics and chemistry from a recognized state. The candidate must score an aggregate of 55% in 10th board.

After 12th board: The candidate must have passed 12th from a recognized board with mathematics, physics and chemistry/biology/biotechnology as their compulsory subject.The candidate must score a aggregate of 50% in board exam.

basically there are many types and diploma in many streams  but  the main (diploma in engineering that is also called polytechnic)and basic criteria for admission in that is candidate have to atleast passed 10 class with 35 % marks  and 33 % for sc , st and kashmir migrants. this is a 3 year course and after that you are also allowd to admission in lateral entry in btech

admission preocess is through entrance exam polytehnic exam(POLYCET)

The minimum qualification required for admission into a diploma course is passing of the tenth standard or equivalent examination, with at least 35 percent in science and maths subjects if you want to pursue in those respectively.

Maximum diploma courses are of 3 years and then people usually take a lateral entry into colleges
