The eligibility criteria for Mtech in IIT is minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% Mark's or first class in qualifying degree.

All regular category candidates (except those having Btech degree from IIT  with minimum CPI of 7.0) must possess a valid score of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

Hello aspirant, Candidates with 60% (55% for SC/ST) marks in B.E./B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engineering)/ M.Sc./M.C.A./MBBS/M.Pharm./B.Pharm.(4 years)/ BDS (4 years) or in any associate membership exam conducted by recognized bodies and recognized as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. degree, are eligible to apply. You need to take Gate exam to get admitted into IIT for M.tech.

In order to apply for Mtech course at Indian Institute of Technology, you have to score minimum 55% agitate marks in your previous degree or 4-year course. Also, you have to answer an entrance exam called GATE based on which your selection criteria will take place.

The eligibility criteria for pursuing M.tech in IITs are:

1. The candidate should have passed 10 +2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board

2. The candidate should have completed B.E / B.Tech with a minimum percentage of 60%

3. The candidate should have appeared for GATE and obtained the cutoff percentile.

4. Candidates who have completed under graduation through IITs with a minimum CGPA of 8.0 get direct admission into IITs for M.Tech without influence of GATE score.
