The elgibilty requirements for  TANCET is,

Academic Requirements - All candidates should have completed their B.Tech/B.E. from a recognized institute in the relevant field. Those candidates who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE will also be termed eligible for TANCET 2019.

Qualifying Marks - To be eligible for admission, the General category candidates will have to secure at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam. However, reserved category candidates need to secure 45% marks.

Domicile - If the required qualifications are met, other state candidates will also be eligible for TANCET 2019.

GATE Qualification - Candidates who qualify GATE will not be required to attempt TANCET 2019. These category candidates will be able to directly go to the counselling session. However, those candidates who qualified GATE 2019 in XE and XL will be required to participate in the entrance examination.
