Hi

No, you don't need 50% separately in each subject in nios or any board to be eligible for neet rather you need 50 % in aggregate of PCB i. e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology, which means your total percentage in sum of physics, chemistry and biology should be 50%

for example,

let's say that you get

  • 53 marks out of 100 marks in Physics

  • 48 marks out of 100 marks in chemistry and

  • 49 marks out of 100 marks in biology

Then your aggregate% in PCB

= 53 + 48     + 49

= 150 marks

=( 150/  300 x 100 )%

=    50% in aggregate of pcb and thus eligible for neet.

For your reference

Neet 2021 eligibility criteria is given below :-

To be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-

  • at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

  • at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

Also,

* to be eligible for neet 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December 2021

* There is no upper age limit for Neet 2021

* There's no limit for the maximum number of attempts/times one can appear in NEET.
