What is the eligiblity for law professor

Hello Archana,

To be a law professor, there is a minimum eligiblity reqired which is stated as below:

1. The candidate should have passed the LLM degree with atleast 55% from any recognized university.

2. The National Eligiblity Test (NET) conducted by UGC should be qualified.

3. If you are PHd holder then you are exempted from the above requirements and you are eligible for the direct appointment of professors

Eligibility for law professor -

A master degree in law with at least 55% from any Indian university or an equivalent foreign university. Minimum 4 years experience as an assistant professor with a Ph.D. degree.
